Since 1993, our camps and hospitals have served communities from Khartoum to Port Sudan. Ten permanent hospitals, local doctors, and care that has continued through the hardest of years.
Our presence

Sudan is our largest hospital network anywhere in the world. These doors have been open for decades, staffed by Sudanese doctors and nurses.

581 camps across 170 cities and towns since May 1993, delivering surgery and glasses where no hospital reaches.
Makkah Technical College
Training Sudan’s next generation of eye-care professionals since 2007. This year the college welcomed 258 new students, its first intake since the war began.
