    A life changed

I can see my children’s faces again.

Amina lost her sight to bilateral cataracts over two years. A single morning at one of our eye camps changed that — and by evening, when the bandages came off, the world came back.

I never thought I would see clearly again. This gift changed my life.

Volunteer questions

Do I need a medical background?

Not always. Surgical and clinical pathways need licensed professionals, but coordination, outreach and remote support roles are open to skilled non-medical volunteers.

What time commitment is expected?

It varies by pathway — from a single mobile camp of a week or two to ongoing remote support. You tell us your availability when you apply.

Can I volunteer remotely?

Yes. Many roles — translation, design, fundraising and program support — are done entirely from home.

Who covers travel costs for field work?

Arrangements depend on the program and pathway; we discuss travel, accommodation and insurance during your interview.
