What we promise

Our commitment

Five standards that govern every Zakat donation we receive.

1 Zakat funds go only to eligible beneficiaries We use 100% of Zakat funds exclusively in a Shariah-compliant way, for Zakat-eligible beneficiaries.
2 We prioritise those in greatest need We prioritise assistance for individuals and families living well below the poverty line, including those facing extreme poverty, displacement, and humanitarian crises.
3 Zakat is accounted for separately We maintain separate accounting records for Zakat funds to ensure they are never mixed with unrestricted donations.
4 Running costs are covered from other funds We cover administrative and fundraising expenses through non-Zakat funds whenever possible.
5 The policy is reviewed regularly We review this policy periodically to ensure continued compliance with Islamic guidance and nonprofit best practices.
